A Really Generous Kid

In July 2011 I preached a series entitled, "Living Generously." As I neared the end of the series, Dennis Adams passed along to me a great video. In it a boy demonstrates the value of living generously. In choosing to be generous he is blessed, though not because he was seeking the blessing. In fact, he didn't even know it was a possibility, but as you watch the video you see he gets so much more than he ever imagined. It really brings to life Jesus' teaching on this:
Jesus: “‘Give, & you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.’” (Luke 6:38 NLT2)
